All software applications have been developed with sophisticated and proprietary algorithms as the backbone for the automation applications. The Menex applications emulate human (operator) activity in the execution of many wellhead processes.
Menex has designed it's own RTU (remote terminal unit)that is an open and scalable system to meet today's sophisticated automation needs.

The MTRAC Controller is a C/C++ programmable 32-bit microprocessor based on the 33 MHz Intel386EX. Low power consumption, industrial operating temperature (-40 degrees C to 75 degrees C), a wide range of I/O, remote communication ability, and onboard user interfaces (visual, audible, and tactile) set this controller apart from others. The controller provides Remote Terminal Unit functions for use in SCADA and telemetry applications. Large base memory allows for complex programs to be ran with more data logging capacity and longer audit trails. The controller accepts DC power input from 5-24V, and has its own internal switching power supply for maximum efficiency. A sleep mode provides the ability to reduce its already low power consumption. The controller was designed as a small complete package capable of running in remote locations in extreme climactic conditions. Ideally suited for solar and/or battery powered sites that require maximum reliability and control.
