-In 1971 Martin Building Maintenance was founded by David Martin -The company was incorporated as David Martin Enterprises (London) Ltd., in 1974 -March 1977, Greg Martin joined the firm. -In 1984, Greg became President and sole shareholder. -Named as one of 'Canada's 50 Fastest Growing Companies' in 1991 and 1992 by Profit Magazine. -In 1992 Hurley Corporation purchased majority of the company, Greg Martin remains President of the firm and Terri Martin Vice President Sales and Marketing. -Named as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in 1993 and 1994. -1997 500 Employees supporting 60 customers. -April 1998 achieved ISO 9002 Registration. -2003 Updated to ISO 9001: 2000 -2004 800 Employees Since the early beginnings we have concentrated on improving the quality of our service. In 1985 we joined the Building Maintenance Contractors Association of Canada and the Building Service Contractors Association International. Through these groups we have learned the industry from the industry giants.
When Martin Building Maintenance joined forces with Hurley Corporation in 1992, we became part of the largest Canadian owned privately held cleaning company in Ontario. Today, our company maintains its own identity and provides services to all of Western Ontario.
