MOGAS SALES INC.
Corporate Profile
Mogas fuel systems were founded in 1981 in British Columbia, Canada. Mogas is committed in the Research & Development of innovative technologies for alternative fuel systems and accessories for spark and compression ignited Internal Combustion engines. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and distributing fuel systems and accessories for new and used motor vehicles; stationary, off-road, marine and industrial engines. Mogas fuel systems allow diesel and gasoline engines, to use efficiently and economically LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) and Hydrogen as fuels.
Mogas offers to Original Equipment Manufacturers and aftermarket up-fitters, a full range of innovative systems and accessories, which range from fixed fuel control or smart electronically controlled with feedback, adaptive learning strategy and On Board Diagnostic System to multiport sequential fuel injection with feedback, adaptive learning strategy and On Board Diagnostic System.
Mogas was founded by Mr. Antonino (Tony) Filetti, as the alternative fuel vehicle division of a dynamic independent auto dealer that provided premium automotive services for the finest automobiles. The alternative fuel equipment available worldwide in the early 1980s was not adequate for the North American and worldwide emerging vehicle/engine emission control technologies.
In 1984, Mr. Filetti initiated the development of a line of innovative technologies for integration with Mogas Fuel Systems for diesel and gasoline engines. In 1988, Mogas was reorganized to focus exclusively on the research and development of first tier innovative technologies for the alternative fuel engine market. Since then, Mogas has developed innovative aspirated LPG / LNG vaporizers and CNG pressure regulators, high pressure LPG /CNG pressure regulators, automatic fuel selectors and indicators, feedback fuel management control modules and systems, sequential fuel injection engine control modules (ECM) and related systems.
Mogas technologies have been installed in more than 50,000 vehicles / engines in North America, Mexico, Asia and Europe.

Mogas is currently pursuing the commercialization of two technologies for medium and heavy duty diesel engines:
'EcoJet' an electronic sequential liquid or gaseous fuel injection technology which allows diesel engines to be transformed to spark-ignition, to operate on 100% LPG, Natural Gas (Methane), bio-fuels or Hydrogen for massive reduction and elimination of polluting emissions, and for aggressive replacement of petroleum fuels, 'without sacrificing performance or efficiency'.
'EcoMate' an add-on dual-fuel Natural gas with a discrete diesel fuel pilot injection ignition for diesel engines. which while permits up to 90% substitution of diesel fuel with Natural Gas, for massive reduction of polluting emissions, retains the engine ability to operate on 100 diesel fuel when necessary. Engines fitted with 'EcoMate' provide original performance and efficiency on Diesel fuel mode and improved performance and efficiency on Gas mode.
Until very recently, the global socio-politico-economic environmental atmosphere was not conducive for the commercialization of such innovative technologies. Now, it has been acknowledged worldwide that natural gas is the most viable alternative to petroleum fuels, that it reduces Greenhouse gas emission and that its refuelling infrastructure promotes the distribution of Hydrogen.
The European Community has adopted the Kyoto Protocol on Climate Change and in a recent report from the European Commission's Alternative Fuels Contact Group, natural gas for vehicles was identified as an economically viable alternative fuel to replace well above 5% of petroleum in the transport sector by 2020. The report also linked the creation of a natural gas fuelling infrastructure to the introduction of hydrogen fuel. The report is the fruit of one and a half year of work by the automotive industry, petroleum industry and alternative fuel stakeholders under the direction of the European Commission, to expand the transportation policy targeting the substitution of 20% of petroleum fuel use by 2020 with 10% natural gas, 5% bio-fuels and 5% hydrogen.
In The Netherlands, Shell has commitment to establish 200 Natural Gas refueling stations.
In France, Gas de France has announced a plan to expand Natural Gas refueling throughout the Nation
In Canada the parliament has voted to ratify the Kyoto Protocol on Climate Change to cut Greenhouse gas (GHG) emission.
In California the Air Resources Board enforces further reduction of air pollution from existing electricity generating IC engines.
All these events present Mogas with opportunity to capitalize on the far-sighted work commenced several years ago. Mogas was founded and maintains firm focus on the following Mission: 'To improve the environment we live in - through the reduction of pollution, to bring about better air quality while delivering the best possible return to shareholders.'

Capabilities
The Company has been a Research & Development leader in the alternate fuel industry for more than a decade, has experience in microprocessors, software, alternative fuels systems and engine management, engineering, consulting, training and marketing.
Engineering
Mogas is composed of three engineering divisions: electronic hardware, software, and mechanical systems. These divisions give the company the ability to design, develop, build, and test electronic control modules, electronic sensor systems, embedded microcontroller strategies for advanced engine control, gas/air mixing systems, gas regulators, and entire engine systems.
Mogas develops new systems though its commitment to R&D. A recent example is the EcoJet microprocessor and system for liquid propane injection. This controller is the key component in a Mogas multiport fuel-injection system for turbo and compressed engines. Mogas, together with industry partners, produced a liquid injected propane Cummins 8.3 liter turbo diesel engine of 260 HP using the EcoJet engine control module and system, Mogas liquid fuel injection technology and other commercially available items. The prototype Cummins 8.3 liter engine was prepared and tested on a dynamometer bench and then installed in a Kenworth T300 semi-trailer truck for road performance evaluation. All tests revealed performance and economy similar to the equivalent diesel engine but with much lower engine noise and emissions.
Marketing
Mogas has established a network of distributors and relationships with auto motive research Institutes, test laboratories, OEM and equipment distributors worldwide. Particularly in nations with active alternative fuels market. Mogas generates revenue through the sale of its products, primarily systems for retrofit of gasoline vehicles/engines to alternative fuel (LPG and Natural Gas) operation. Mogas is the manufacturer and the main distributor of its systems and components, which are sold to OEM, distributors, fleet operators, utilities, and modifiers.
Consulting
Mogas, through 25 years of research and development of solutions for the alternative fuels, engines and vehicles industry, working with distributors, customers, utilities, fuel providers, government and safety agencies and institutions, has accumulated experience and expertise in alternate fuel technologies, logistics, economy, distribution, safety, installatons and the business in whole.
The Company offers consulting services to OEMs, distributors, customers and fleets in the development of fuel systems and engines and for establishing refuelling centres, distribution networks and equipment installation centres.
Training
Mogas has assisted safety committies, distributors, installers, fleets and utilities for the last 25 years and has established a reputation of excellence in the natural gas and LPG engine and vehicle industry, for its products, services and knowledge. This knowledge is shared with clients at all levels, fleet users, distributors and installers via telephone, Internet and personal training.
The company offers training to all members of the alternative fuel engine and vehicles Industry.
