Lyman Lures Manufacturing has been producing quality handmade
wooden fishing lures since 1950. Strict quality control has
ensured Lyman Lures a reputation as Canada's finest wooden plug.
The design of Lyman Lures cut-plug has remained essentially
unchanged, with minor adjustments to the hook attachment and the
painted finish to improve strength and durability. Lyman Lures
have been tested and proven most successful on a number of
species including trout, salmon, pike, muskellunge, large and
small mouth bass, striped bass, dolly varden, and grouper. Lyman
Lures Manufacturing sells product on the east coast of Canada and
the United States, and in British Columbia, Washington, and
Idaho. There is interest in expanding to Taiwan and several
European countries.
