Lowry Otto Erskine Williams Architects Inc. (LOEW) is Ottawas
largest architectural practice, originally founded in 1979. The
firm opened a Toronto office in 2001, managed by Henry Lowry.
The firm has completed an extensive variety of private and
public sector projects, both new construction, interior fit-ups
and renovations. The four partners bring over 100 years of
experience and the firm enjoys strong and effective working
relationships with, and the respect of the local construction
community, community associations and municipal authorities. The
partners are working partners and work closely with both staff
and clients. The firm has a recognized expertise in building
sciences, having been the author of a number of CMHC Best
Practice Guides, as well as having a large portfolio of
technical audits, building envelope failure investigations,
recladding remedial projects and expert witness services for
building failure litigation. The firms area of true expertise
lies in large scale, complex critical care hospital development,
beneficial to all project types.
