HISTORY:
London Concrete Machinery Inc. was formed in 1906 to manufacture and sell a line of concrete handling equipment. The company was purchased in 1964 by P. W. E. Hodgson. As the product lines developed and volume increased, a need arose for more space. In 1974, the company moved to it's present location at 485 McCormick Blvd. with 110, 000 square feet of space. In December 1989, the assets of London Machinery Company Limited were sold to a new company, London Machinery Inc. The shareholders of this company represent the senior management of the predescessor company with the addition of one outside investor with significant mobile equipment manufacturing experience. In July 1991, the Company acquired mixer inventory, drawings, customer lists and other related assets of Jaeger Equipment. Jaeger had been London's primary Canadian competitor of mixers. As a result of the acquisition, the Company became the only significant manufacturer of concrete mixers in Canada. Over the past 30 years the Company has positioned itself as the dominant Canadian manufacturer of concrete mixers.
In June 1996, we introduced a newly designed combination dump/spreader to lthe Canadian market. This product has a capacity to carry 14 cubic yards of payload. This product has been well received by our customers and we look forward to a significant increase in market share for this product line.

New models introduced in the last five years include 'Paver Mixers' and 'Bridge Formula Mixers' designed specifically for the U.
