LogicVision, Inc. provides unique yield learning capabilities in the design for manufacturing space. These capabilities enable its customers, leading semiconductor companies, to more quickly and efficiently learn to improve product yields. The companys advanced Design for Test (DFT) product line, ETCreate, works together with ETAccess and SiVision yield learning applications to enable increased profit by reducing device field returns, reducing test costs, and accelerating both time to market and time to yield.

LogicVision customers include independent device manufacturers (IDMs), fabless semiconductor companies, semiconductor foundries, and end-product manufacturers. LogicVision solutions are used in the development of semiconductor ICs for products ranging from digital consumer goods to wireless communications devices and satellite systems. LogicVision (Canada) Inc. has its headquarters in Ottawa and is a wholly owned subsidiary of LogicVision Inc, based in San Jose, California.


2 Business Description
As hundreds of millions of transistors in an IC interact with each other at hundreds of megahertz, structural test and embedded test technologies become critical to the continued growth of the semiconductor industry. The solution to physical limits of semiconductor test requires the industry to create an efficient and integrated semiconductor design and manufacturing process and introduce new technologies from IC design to silicon debug, from wafer probe to final test, and from board-level diagnostics to system level bring-up. LogicVision's proprietary technologies and software products allow IC and system designers, as well manufacturers of devices and automatic test equipment (ATE) to successfully deploy structural test and embedded test technologies for the entire industry.

LogicVision derives revenue from licenses of our intellectual property and software. Service revenues are from fixed fee technology development and design contracts and post contract customer support. LogicVision licenses intellectual property and software through a direct sales force in the U.S. and Europe, and through international distributors.
