Living Graphs Inc.

Living Graphs Inc. (formerly Eureka Software Inc.) was
established in Kingston, Ontario, Canada to improve education in
math and science. For many learners, concepts in these areas
become clearest through precise hands-on visualization. Living
Graphs software benefits classroom instruction by realizing
advancements in computer graphics and processing.

All Living Graphs products give students the opportunity for
discovery through hands-on exploration. Our interactive and
visual approach complements more traditional methods to
reinforce students' understanding of difficult concepts.

By creating powerful simulation and visualization tools, Living
Graphs provides new and innovative ways of teaching math and
science. As a result of its ongoing commitment to education,
Living Graphs has become an important part of classrooms around
the world.

Newton's Aquarium: A Solar System Construction Set

Making Waves: A Wave Interference Construction Set
Making Waves is an interactive wave construction set that allows students to create and explore situations involving any number of transverse and longitudinal waves. This software takes an interactive, visual approach to physics. Making Waves will help students develop an intuition for wave interactions. Students will gain a better understanding of the physics behind the images. By creating and exploring their own waves and wave sums with Making Waves, students encounter the core concepts in formal wave theory. Making Waves was designed for use in senior high school and college physics studies. The software offers interactive real- time simulation; editable wave properties including amplitude, wavelength, phase shift, speed, frequency and damping; standing waves; and mks units. Online help and tutorials are provided to help teachers integrate the software into their curriculum. With Making Waves, students can now explore the interaction of waves using only their computer, Living Graph Paper and their imagination.

Looking Glass: A Geometric Optics Construction Set
Looking Glass is a geometric optics construction set that allows students to create and explore situations involving several objects, lenses, mirrors and images. This software takes an interactive, visual approach to physics. Looking Glass will help students develop an intuition for the effect of lenses and mirrors on light rays. Students will gain a better understanding of the physics behind the images. By creating and exploring their own lenses and mirrors with Looking Glass, students encounter many of the core concepts in optics. Looking Glass was designed for use in high school and college physics studies. The software offers convex and concave lenses and mirrors; virtual and real images; thin-lens modeling; and mks units. Online help and tutorials are provided to help teachers integrate the software into their curriculum. With Looking Glass, students can now explore the behavior of lenses and mirrors using only their computer, Living Graph Paper and their imagination.

Vseprplex: An Introduction To Molecular Modelling
VSEPRplex (pronounced 'ves-per-plex') is a 3-D molecular modeling set that allows students to build their own molecules, atom by atom. This software takes an interactive, visual approach to chemistry. VSEPRplex will help students develop a deeper intuition for the shapes of small covalent molecules. Students will gain a better understanding of the chemistry behind the images. By building and exploring their own molecules with VSEPRplex, students encounter the core concepts in VSEPR theory. VSEPRplex was designed for use in senior high school and college chemistry studies. The software offers interactive real-time 3-D rotations; display of element attributes and structural calculations; skeletal, Lewis, wireframe and space-filling models; and a point-and-click periodic table. Online help, tutorials and a fundamental structures chart are provided to help teachers integrate the software into their curriculum. With VSEPRplex, students can now explore the shapes and properties of small covalent molecules using only their computer, Living Graph Paper and their imagination.
