Water Quality Management services; Industrial process wastewater disposal; quarry dewatering assessments; well interference investigations; subdivision assessments; groundwater supply evaluations; sewage disposal system assessments; groundwater monitoring programs; evaluation of waste disposal sites; project management and expert witness services; property transfer well and septic system assessments.
The company is registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, and with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Lissom Earth Sciences is a licensed Well Contractor, with two Licensed Well Technicians on staff, and is a Licensed Septic System Contractor, with a Supervisor and Inspector on staff. The company also retains two Ministry of the Environment licensed Water Quality Analysts.


The company carries insurance through the Encon Insurance Company. This insurance provides coverage for errors and omissions in association with the provision of the above

Development Of A Sustainable And Regionally Acceptable Disposal System.
Since 1986, Lissom Inc. has been finding innovative solutions to the problems of onsite sewage disposal. These solutions have included: evaluation and upgrading of existing conventional systems; design of new conventional systems; finding innovative solutions such as filter beds, biofilters, constructed wetlands, in problem areas; evaluation of site conditions and design of appropriate disposal system; monitoring of system performance. Lissom provides a complete service from evaluation of the disposal requirements, integration of the site parameters into a solution, design of the disposal system, supervision of the installation/construction, and monitoring system performance.

Use Of Sludge As A Fertilizer And Soil Conditioning Supplement.
Over the past eight years Lissom Inc. has been managing municipal and industrial sludge as a benefit to agricultural production. This management procedure has involved: establishing volumes and chemical characteristics of the sludge to be used; determining selection parameters for spreading sites; evaluation of suitable spreading sites; working with farmer to develop crop production program to maximize nutrients and soil conditioning benefits. This includes timing, type of crop, rotation to be used Working with local agricultural specialists to evaluate compaction and run-off risks Monitoring of soil and groundwater to ensure adequate protection and long term protection of soil and groundwater resource.
