By implementing the solution provided by LPTi, one of our key clients was able to extend the life of W-101 fleet of engines well beyond the OEM recommended life limits. The clent was also able to save on capital spending by deferring the capital investment costs while minimizing operational risks at the same time. Instead of spending $40 million to replace all life expired discs in the fleet of 42 W-101 engines, and has only spent approximately $ 0.5 Million on an annual basis for the last five years.
