Liburdi designs and manufactures specialized metallurgical
equipment and processes for advanced manufacturing. The
international office and main plant is located outside Toronto,
Canada with offices in Los Angeles , Detroit and in North
Carolina in support of our application industries - aerospace,
automotive and industrial manufacturing.

Dimetrics Corporation adds a new element to the products and
services already offered by Liburdi Engineering. Dimetrics
Corporation offers Orbital Welding equipment to the Gas,
Nuclear, and Petrochemical Industries. The Dimetrics facility is
located in North Carolina approximately 20 minutes North of
Charlotte.

Liburdi Engineering specializes in fully integrated, Automated
Welding Systems, complete with the unique Liburdi Vision Systems
for high precision, 3 dimensional component characterization and
real time seam tracking. Systems are based on the LAWS series of
proven gantry and rectilinear, multiple axis robotic systems or
can be custom designed by our engineering department. Liburdi
also provides the versatile LPM powder metallurgy process as a
high strength alternative to welding for joining, surface build-
up, surface protection, and repair. Major customers include
Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, Praxair, US Air Force, and
the major airlines.

Liburdi Pulsweld specializes in the design and manufacture of
high precision welding power supplies to meet exacting aerospace
specifications. The systems provide unique performance
characteristics for both GTAW and PAW welding of aerospace
alloys and challenging industrial applications. The systems are
based on modular current sources with high frequency, precision
DC pulsing and 0.1 amp accuracy. The patented Variable Polarity
option achieves metallurgically superior welds for alloys such
as aluminum, titanium, magnesium, as well as nickel superalloys
and powder metallurgy components. Major customers include Pratt
& Whitney, Rockwell, General Electric, McDonnel Douglas, GM, and
high speed tube mills.
