The Electrical Harmonizer addresses the TOTAL power supply of a facility, as it is connected to the total electrical load, at its source, in the facilitys electrical room. The Harmonizer optimizes voltage, improves the quality of the incoming power supply, and considerably reduces electrical bills and maintenance costs. It is in fact the only device on the market that addresses the majority of power quality issues for the total electrical load of small to large facilities. The Electrical Harmonizer accomplishes this with an operating efficiency of 99.89% in its own use of power under full load.
Power Quality and it significant related costs have become a serious issue in need of consideration for facilities in North America. In addition, the majority of facilities have incoming electrical supplies at levels above, or at the higher end of the optimal operating range for which their equipment was designed.
A potentially contaminated electrical supply, incoming at levels at the higher end of the optimal operating range, result in additional electrical consumption costs, and higher maintenance costs, by shortening the lifespan of many electrical devices.

The Electrical Harmonizer can be used to reduce consumption of electrical power on a large scale. The larger units will minimize power consumption for facilities as large as an entire shopping mall or office tower.
The Harmonizer is installed in series with a facility's main electrical incomer, at the 480/600 volt level. It requires only the adaptation of the present 3 phase wiring to that of the 3 phase wiring on either side of the Electrical Harmonizer device, along with the installation of the electrical panel box which contains the Harmonizer device.
The unit is provided for no upfront cost, through a performance based approach, to all large energy consumers who meet the qualifications for the Legend Power installation program. Through this approach, the measured and documented savings are shared between the Legend and the customer. This requires no large outlay of capital on the part of the customer's company, and eliminates risk. Legend Power also offers a direct sale, lease, and lease to purchase program.
Once a company meets the qualification criteria, a unit will be ordered for the specific power requirements of the facility, based on Peak kilowatt Demand and monthly kwh consumed.
It will be built, shipped and installed within 90 days, to allow customers to begin accumulating their electrical and maintenance cost savings immediately.
IKEA, the swedish home furnishing mega-store chain completed their first installation in North America in 2002. Independent monitoring was conducted by the utility company, BC Hydro, would have become strong supporters of the technology.
Energy savings alone, during the monitoring period of mid summer, with its high air conditioning levels, averaged 8.6 percent. From early fall through the following spring, measured savings were consistently in the double digits.
IKEA purchased the unit, and was incented significantly by BC Hydro for the purchase, based on the aggregate kwh savings that BC Hydro will accumulate.
