Career selection/implementation strategies are addressed, appropriate testing and counselling tools are employed. Program includes specific written projects and a supervised work experience.
A basic business and entrepreneurial training program. Focus is on business practices and methods, the accounting cycle, customer relations and sales. Examination of both product and service industries' business methods. All graduates are COMPETENCY ASSURED (they will have the skills outlined in the course prospectus). All graduates have completed both the classroom and work experience parts of the program.
A career selection and development program for unemployed youths. Focus is on choosing a short term career path and the basic work and personal skills required for success. Generic and job-specific skills are addressed. Administration and interpretation of appropriate career inventories/testing materials is part of the program. Research on various career options is required. Resumes with covering letters are required projects. There is a supervised work experience component for all participants.
