OUR MISSION
The Peat Research and Development Centres mission is to favour
the optimal development of the peat industry.

OUR MANDATE
1. To research the use, reclamation and restoration of peatlands.

2. To research the extraction and use of peat.

3. To develop peat-based value-added products.

4. To develop innovative and viable solutions to environmental
challenges related to the use, reclamation and restoration of
peatlands.

5. To develop and to market new technologies stemming from the
PRDCs work.

6. To favour technology transfers.

7. To circulate technical and scientific information.

8. To offer technical services and consultation.

9. To establish partnerships and be active in networking.


The PRDC inc. is accredited by:

I Canadian Association for Environmental Analytical
Laboratories (CAEAL) inc. under the authority of the Standards
Council of Canada (SCC), according to the ISO/IEC 17025 for
specific tests.

II Canadian Food Inspection Agency:
