Richard Lobb, C. E. O. of Lanherne Technology Ltd., has been involved with Medical and Scientific Research and Development and with manufacturing for 30 years. His Biomedical experience covers Hip and Knee joint replacement, Percutaneous / Skeletal implants, Fracture Fixation, and the development of Surgical Instruments. Other experience includes the design and manufacture of the Queen's University Experiment in Liquid Diffusion (QUELD1) which flew in the Space Shuttle in 1993. He has developed various furnaces, most recently one for gas chromatography. Other projects for clients include geomagnetic instrumentation and seismic monitoring instruments. He has been co-author of five papers, 2 on Biomedical Implants and 3 on Biomechanics.
