Lakewood Systems Ltd. is a high-tech private Canadian company which was established in 1978. Lakewood manufactures battery powered data recorders for use with a broad range of environmental and industrial instruments. With its head office in Edmonton, Alberta, the company has a subsidiary in Houston, Texas, with a sales office in Sacramento, California. Lakewood is committed to the design and production of reliable, state-of-the-art dataloggers, which obtain highly reliable and accurate data while operating under extreme environmental conditions.
Lakewood's dataloggers are used by engineers, scientists and instrumentation technicians to record a broad range of information such as: temperature, pressure, fluid levels, humidity, rainfall and voltage. The information gathered by Lakewood's dataloggers can be quickly and easily graphed or tabulated by Lakewood's IBM-PC based software. Lakewood's dataloggers are compatible with desktop or laptop PC's, and can communicate direct via RS-232 or telephone (including cellular) modems.
After specializing in dataloggers for over 15 years, Lakewood has expanded its product line to over 300 items. Many of its products are unique and can provide continuous data recording for up to 5 years between battery changes, and can operate at temperatures ranging from -40C to +75C. Data collected by Lakewood dataloggers can be certified and traced to National Standards.
Lakewood markets its products through a network of representatives and resellers worldwide, with some of its data sheets available in Russian. The company also makes a special effort to accommodate OEM's and many instrumentation manufacturers integrate Lakewood's devices into their main product lines.

Lakewood's Chart Pacs make it easy to record conditions such as temperatures, pressures, fluid levels, humidity, rainfall, voltages, and alarm conditions for fast graphical and tabular analysis on laptop or desktop IBM/PC computers.
Chart Pacs can be programmed to record data ranging from once a day to once per second. With Lakewood's advanced LS-4 software, the graphs can be viewed within seconds and the data quickly moved to standard software products, such as Lotus 123, Excel, Quattro-Pro, MS Word or Word Perfect.
Chart Pacs offer the convenience of interchanging modules in remote field applications through the use of unique input plugs.
Recorded data is always protected by a ten year memory battery. A standard 9 V alkaline battery can power the module for up to 4 months. ULB lithium batteries provide 1-5 years of continuous power for Chart Pacs.
Battery-powered remote data recording system consisting of precipitation gauges, wind speed and direction sensors, radiation shields and other weather related instruments.
