The company is well along the way in the development and demonstration of the Electronically Controlled Active Suspension Systems (ECASS), which dramatically improves the maneuvering and cross country performance of wheeled and tracked vehicles. Thereby, resulting in highly-mobile, stable platforms from which weapons can be fired and both troops and vital supplies transported to the front lines. The Toronto facility also houses the only full service Carousel IV depot- level repair and overhaul facility in the world.
First-to-third levels of maintenance in support of the CP-140 Aurora Maritime Patrol Aircraft are provided at avionics test, repair and overhaul centre in Halifax. NGCC is responsible for life cycle support of the advanced avionics and mission systems used on-board the CP-140 aircraft and systems engineering for several major CP-140 modernization projects. Through its part in the Optimized Weapon Systems Process, the company continues to deliver customer focused solutions aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of the Canadian Forces.
NGCC has recently teamed with GD Canada to offer an Intermediate Level Maintenance Facility for the MHP Integrated Mission System.
