Site Remediation And Reclamation.
Komex provides an integrated team of scientists and engineers with the technical qualifications and relevant experience to select, design and implement the remedial program that is most appropriate for the contaminant situation and satisfy the remedial driver, whether it be corporate policy, regulatory compliance, property boundary issues, or land transactions. Analysis Of Groundwater For Residential, Municipal And Industrial Use
Komex provides a full range of services including source identification by audit, environmental geophysics and direct investigation; hydrogeological framework characterization by exploratory drilling and installation of monitoring wells; contaminant impact characterization by collecting and analysis of groundwater samples for chemical, microbial and physical parameters; receptor identification, quantification of risks, and development of risk management strategies; design and implementation of programs to remediate the contaminated groundwater using any one or combination of effective technologies; computer modelling to simulate contaminant migration, capture and attenuation scenarios; and treatment of recovered fluids, including phase separation, air stripping, thermal destruction, bioreactors, advanced oxidation, and carbon adsorption.
