Rollmax Load Cells For Industrial Roll Force Measurement
ROLLMAX Load Cells for industrial roll force measurement
are engineered to meet the specific requirements of each
individual application, including the direct replacement of
existing load cells. All ROLLMAX load cells are warranted not
only against defects in workmanship or material, but against
failure of any kind, however caused, for a period of FIVE YEARS.
ROLLMAX WASHER LOAD CELL
- Preferred location is between the nut and the housing. Can also
be applied to under the screw.
- Particularly applicable to roughing mills or plate mills with
high impact loading and severe duty. As well as in rolling mills,
KELK Washer Load Cells can be used in continuos casting machines,
ladle cars, roller levelers, and other load measuring
applications in demanding environments.
- Highly accurate
- Excellent linearity
- Low hysteresis
- High capacity range
- Fast response time
- High accuracy of calibration, traceable to the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (Formerly the National
Bureau of Standards).
- Easily end economically retrofitted to existing mills. Low
maintenance requirements.
ROLLMAX DISC LOAD CELL
- Preferred location is between the screw and top back-up chock
in mills with roller bearings or solid bearings. As well as in
rolling mills, they can be used in other types of machinery to
measure force or load.
- Relatively insensitive to uneven loading that is always present
in this position.
- Excellent linearity
- Low hysteresis
- High capacity range
- Fast response time
- High accuracy of calibration, traceable to the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (Formerly the National
Bureau of Standards).
- Can economically upgrade existing disc-shaped load cell
installations.
ROLLMAX SLAB LOAD CELL
- Preferred location is under the bottom back-up chock of the
mill in order to measure the force evenly spread over the
rectangular area. As well as in rolling mills, they can be used
in other types of machinery to measure force or load.
- Length matching that of rocker block ensures optimum load
distribution.
- Used to measure a load distributed over area of load cell in
cases where it is not possible to locate a cell closer to the
rocker block.
- Relatively insensitive to uneven loading that is always present
in this position.
- Excellent linearity
- Low hysteresis
- High capacity range
- Fast response time
- High accuracy of calibration, traceable to the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (Formerly the National
Bureau of Standards).
- Can economically upgrade existing disc-shaped load cell
installations.
ROLLMAX T-BLOCK LOAD CELL
- Special narrow design fits beneath rocker block at bottom of
the mill. As well as in rolling mills, they can be used in other
types of machinery to measure force or load.
- Narrow cross section provides excellent integration of line
load from rocker block, with no need for load distribution
plates.
- Impervious to mill fluids and scale.
- Will tolerate bending of mill housing and rocker block without
error.
- Excellent linearity
- Low hysteresis
- High capacity range
- Fast response time
- High accuracy of calibration, traceable to the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (Formerly the National
Bureau of Standards).
