J.F. Young International Inc. is a training and consulting
organization founded in 190. Our headquarters is in Fonthill ON
with branch offices in Cornwall UK and Cleveland OH. We have
three major areas of expertise, as follows:
1. Quality Management:
From one-half day training sessions to full turnkey projects, we
can offer any required services in ISO or TS 16949, Business
Excellence Model and ISO 14000. Our most popular courses
include: Internal Quality Auditing, Problem Solving, Statistical
Process Control and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). A
new product here is Six Sigma training.
We work with both small and large organizations. We have helped
many organizations achieve their ISO registration or other
stated
goals in manufacturing and with both private and public sector
service providers. Our forte is in project management.
Examples
of our clients are: Industry Canada, Pebble Beach Golf Resort
(CA), Hobart Brothers Delphi Automotive, AT&T and NASA.
2. Metallurgical Services:
We offer training and consulting in the following areas:
corrosion, heat treating, welding and basic metallurgy. We have
consulted in these areas, studied metal structure failures in our
laboratory, provided on-site inspection services, optimized
process parameters and acted as an expert witness in litigation
as well as train-the-trainer.
Typical training subjects include: Basic Metallurgy, Aerspace
Materials, Heat Treating and Bearing Tecnology. Others can be
developed upon request - such as Minerals Processing Technology.
Examples of our clients include: General Motors, Delta Airlines,
Dofasco, Magna Automotive, Chrysler, Moen and Acco.
3. Workforce Education:
We offer training and consultation in setting up workplace
literacy programs. We also teach courses in basic literacy and
numeracy, English-Second-Language, Clear Writing, Team Building
and WHMIS. We work within both the private and public sectors.
One of our recent clients was the West Pinal County (Arizona)
Literacy Council.

quality management and metallurgical services. We now have
branch offices in Cornwall UK and Cleveland OH. In the area of
quality management, we can offer training sessions on a broad
