Surge Testing
SurgAlert: A sophisticated voltage sensor and portable
electronic instrument measuring the magnitude, risetime, and
number of surges that strike a motor.
SurgRisc: An on-line monitor to assess the impact of switchgear
and IFD voltage surges on monitors. SurgRisc continuously
monitors critical factors such as voltage magnitude, risetime,
number of surges, as well as motor temperature to provide a
cumulative assessment of the risk of failure for those motors
rated between 220 V and 13.8 kV.
XTrac: Instrumentationf for measuring stator winding partial
discharges caused by IFDs. IFDs create thousands of fast
risetime voltage surges per second. XTrac can be used directly
on motors driven by an IFD to measure if PD is occurring on the
motor. When combined with certain surge testers, XTrac also
enables users to determine the surge voltage at which PD occurs.
Software
MICAA: A sophisticated, user-friendly, predictive maintenance
software tool which helps large motor and generator users assess
the risk of failure of rotor windings, stator windings, and
laminated cores. MICAA avoids in-service failures, improves
winding maintenance planning and reduces costs.
AdvanceView: Designed to provide plant personnel with a
powerful, flexible and practical means of displaying motor and
generator partial discharge (PD) data aquired with the PDA, TGA
or GenGuard PD measuring systems.
Sleak: the expert computer program that assesses 'what to do
with known/suspected generator stator winding water leaks'.
Sleak assesses the financial consequences of water leaks based
on their severity, develops a list of repair and monitoring
options for user action, and ranks the repair options using
specific user conditions and requirements.

PDA: Sensor and instruments to measure the partial discharge
activity in utility hydrogenerators to determine the
condition of the stater winding electical insulation.
GenGuard: A continuous, on-line partial discharge monitor for
motor and generator stator windings.
HydroTrac: An economical instrument providing automated,
continuous PD measurements on smaller hydrogenerators.
MotorTrac: specifically developed to measure partial
discharge (PD) activity for predictive maintenance on induction
and synchronous motors rated 3.3 kv and 4 kv.
