Inland Technologies Canada Inc.
Since 1990, the Inland Group of companies headquartered in Truro, Nova Scotia, has specialized in the management of airport glycol collection and recycling services. With operations in North America, Europe and Asia, our primary area of expertise lies in providing a cost-effective means of recovering and reprocessing glycols collected from military and civilian airport de-icing and anti-icing operations.
Inland is both an equipment manufacturer and a service provider, and as such, we are able to provide services ranging from building and operating turnkey facilities to delivering a component of the glycol recovery process.
One of our key manufactured products is a 'Glycol Concentrator'. This technologically advanced, cost-effective system removes water from spent aircraft de-icing fluids onsite. Inland also manufactures 'Glycol Polishers' for purifying concentrated glycol into aircraft de-icing fluid. DuraGly, our trade name for this de-icing fluid, is in use by major air carriers in North America.
Inland Technologies has grown to become one of Canada's largest independently owned specialty waste management companies, processing hundreds of millions of litres of waste glycol annually. We are committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and environmental protection through an investment in on-going research and development and will continue to broaden our product line by taking into consideration each customer's requirements and needs.

Environmental Products And Services
Inland Airport Environmental Services And Glycol Concentrator Technology.
Inland Technologies Inc. has developed glycol and water treatment systems designed specifically for the wide ranging requirements of airlines and airports. The service offers a total waste management approach involving site analysis, efficient collection, storage, treatment and disposal of recovered de-icing fluids and contaminated storm water. Inland's state-of-the-art glycol recycling technology provides maximum re-utilization of spent de-icing fluids.
The further water treatment process ensures regulatory compliance. The glycol concentrator provides an extremely cost efficient method to recycle the spent ADF into a marketable product for reuse again at the airport or for outside vendors. The process is based on a distillation unit with vapour recompression, and unique heat recovery systems for energy efficiency. Inland's extensive experience in this field permits airports and airlines to meet regulatory requirements for airport storm water discharge and realize the cost benefits of having a recycled product.
Inland's Modular Oily Waste Treatment Process And Environmental Management Systems.
Inland's proven oily waste treatment process incorporates a modular designed system to recover waste petroleum liquids at low cost and produce recycled alternative fuels suitable for heavy industry. The unique design permits rapid, low cost construction and installation including controls and ancillary equipment processes. Processes are modified and added to consider waste volumes, waste types and local regulatory issues.
Additional processes can be incorporated to treat sludges, greases, soils, used oil filters and solvent recovery. The successful management petroleum based wastes from a region or country will require not only proper recycling but also the infrastructure that supports it. Inland's solutions include; assisting the development of relevant regulations; promoting and supplying proper storage containers; efficient collection/transportation systems; consulting and the sale of recycling products.
