First Nation Project Managers
Ininew Project Management Ltd founded in 1990 specifically to provide feasibility study, engineering design and project management services for the full range of capital projects in First Nation Communities.
Ininew is completely owned by three Manitoba First Nations - the Tataskweyak Cree Nation (Split Lake), the Chemawawin Cree Nation and the Mosakahiken Cree Nation. It meets the criteria set out by Canada for Aboriginal Business.
Ininew provides assistance to First Nation clients, Government Departments and private companies in planning and implementing capital projects in a manner which is responsive to their individual needs and aspirations.
With access to Ininew's technical and management resources, our clients have successfully met the challenge to managing their own capital projects and have realized significant economic and social benefits as a result.
Ininew's services are provided by skilled professionals who recognize the importance of local planning and decision making processes. This enables Ininew to respond effectively to community input and thus increase community satisfaction with the results of each project.
The company was incorporated in 1990 and in the years since then has enjoyed an enviable record of growth and successful project completion. To date Ininew has completed in excess of eighty projects for more than fifty different clients. The aggregate construction value of these projects is in the vicinity of $400 million.
