Jaro Industries Inc. is a company with over 30 years of loyal services to the telephone companies. The owners of the company are in this business of manufacturing telephone booths since the 50's, but experience in business attached to it since 1909.

The product standards are always in evaluation. At the beginning of the 50's, the products were made of wood. Towards the end of the 50's, the use of aluminum extrusions became more popular and several products of the last technologies are employed in the construction of our enclosures.

Most Canadian telephone companies are trusting the JARO products which have a good visibility, esthetical appearance, longevity and low cost of maintenance.

Now, we have a modern manufacturing plant which is adapt as well for the small quantity as well as for the big quantity.

Among our clients are two (2) major Canadian companies: Bell Canada and Telus.

Since year 2000 we are developping the promessing sector of Interactive Kiosks as well as using our specialised manufacturing equipment to do more job shop works.

• Diamond Booth

  This telephone booth has a triangular shape with a diamond shaped roof. This is an excellent choice for historical place.

• Jaro J-070 & J-090 Tubular Enclosures

  J-070 is made of intersliding aluminum extrusion. The model J-070 is very popular in hotel lobby and shopping malls.

  J-090 offers the multiple installation using very little.

  J070 TUBE - COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

  The J070 is a tubular cabinet built for exterior and interior use. This cabinet is mainly constructed of intersliding extrusions which make it virtually impossible to distinguish the number of extrusions planks and give a surface with no apparent joints. The J070 comes in 4 different colours of anodization and can also be painted.

  Four different heights are available 84', 79', 74' and 62' for drive-up. The de 84' and 79' are available with a coin slot at CS54 or standard (CS54 being standard for 74' height). Now a new model called 'VERSATILE' is available; a sliding panel allows you to change in a very simple and fast way the height of your phone when installing your phone. This gives the same tube a lot more flexibility in your arrangement.

  The tube is not only pleasing the eye but is very practical. The interior modular plug-in system makes it easier to install. This way, when preparing the installation on site, only one duplex receptacle floor mounted is necessary for each group of tubes. Each tube is equipped with a plug and receptacle for multiple modular installation. Holes are pre-drilled at the lower rear section of the tube for this type of connection.

  The aluminum inclined floor iscovered with non-skid rubber titles Type GS available in standard colours to blend with anodized finish. This helps to minimize maintenance and also avoid usury.

  Access to electricity, from the lens and/or cover plate are protected by (fast) half-turn security screws, and security fasteners for the inclined floor.

  A PL13 lighting with A013 adapter consuming 13 watts are supplied, an equivalent of a 75 watts incandescent bulb. According to statistics from suppliers, the life of a PL13 is of 10, 000 hours which is very interesting. You may also use an ordinary incandescent bulb, maximum 100 watts. As for all our products, we have included a duplex receptacle to power supply telephone which require a supplement of electricity. Also, a directory holder may be installed into the tube.

  A tubular directory holder is also available. With its 36' height it can accommodate a directory up to a maximum of 4' thick.

  Note: Following an agreement between 'Burger King Canada' and 'Bell Canada', the J070-B-79 C54 B. K. tube was chosen to be the official telephone cabinet for all Burger Kings across Canada.

• Jaro J-400 Payphone Enclosure

  Originally built for exterior needs. It may be mounted on walls or on pedestal at car driver's and wheelchair height as well as walk-up or truck-up height.

  The J-400 is a non-expensive model built with 3/16' anodized aluminum. Several lighting systems and identifications are available.

  COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION:

  The J400 boothette is made for exterior use. It may be installed to a wall with a mounting bracket #40B001 or mounted on a pedestal. Different heights for pedestals are available: car height (#40A454), universal or handicap (#40A545) and pedestrian (#40A635). A special bracket #40C300 for back to back installation is also available (option).

  The boothette is mainly constructed of 3/16' (15mm) anodized aluminum. Stickers are of scotchlite quality, 3M luminescence and are silk screen printed. 5/8' (16mm) aluminum bars are held by means of 'one way' security bolts. The bars may be replaced by a stainless steel shelf. Also available is a rod to hang the directory at the same level as the telephone.

  The J400 allows the installation of different types of telephone, such as the 'Centurion', 'Millennium' and 'Protel'. There is sufficient space above the telephone to install a 5' x 7' (125mm x 183mm) publicity frame. Visible fasteners are of stainless with the exception of the half-turn security screws for the lens.

  Fluorescent lighting (1-HO 18' (46cm) tube) operates up to a temperature of -40F (-40C). For areas where -40F (-40C) is not required, some other lighting (such as 'Circuline') are available. A duplex outlet allows on site maintenance and can eventually serve for telephones requiring a supplement of electricity. A 15 amp breaker is included in the boothette. This electrical system is CSA and UL approved. The lighting is in the upper part of the J400 and this section is separated by a white polycarbonate diffuser.

  The J400 is very popular for drive-up and truck-up use, and is also in demand for places where resistance to vandalism is required.

• Jaro J-4bb/420/422/428 Telephone Enclosure

  Cabinet conceived for exterior and interior requirements J-4xx can be mounted on walls or on pedestal, in a simple or even back to back. This cabinet is principally made of anodized aluminum of architectural quality.

  The J-4xx has a stainless steel shelf which allows a telephone directory. It also has a fluorescent lighting resisting up to -40C.

  COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION - J4xx These cabinets have been designed for exterior and/or interior use. They can be installed on wall or on pedestal in simple or back to back mounting.

  These cabinets are principally made of aluminum sheets and extrusions used in the structure of the cabinets are anodized for architectural quality clear (color option). Signs are made of acrylic and silk screening is printed on the back and laminated for water resistance (logo option). Side openings are filled with clear tempered glasses (option) and sealed with reusable PVC gaskets. Moulding used to retain signs and glass are snapped in type. A full length brushed stainless steel shelf allows a directory holder (option).

  The J422 and J428 have enough space above the telephone to install publicity frame 7' x 11' (option). Special attention was given to minimize the number of visible screws, that are safety type with hexagonal key.

  The fluorescent lighting (2 - 24' tubes) functions up to -40C. An electronic photocell is also an option. A duplex outlet on 15 amps breaker allows for on site maintenance and may be used for pay phones requiring supplementary electricity like the 'Millennium'. UL and CSA approved.

• Jaro J-800 Telephone Booth

  Full size exterior telephone booth manufactured with anodized aluminum extrusions offering resistance to wear, scratches and corrosion.

  They are pleasing to the eyes with the rounded corners. Mounting components are not visible from the outside. The opening and dimensions are taking in consideration the required access to the booth via wheelchair for handicapped persons.

  The different sides and arrangements panels can vary to produce 18 and more models. Several options of lighting are available. The size of our signs allow a corporative visibility of our clients. The best directory holders can be mounted to the booths. Our doors are equipped with the best anti-gusting system.
