Trajectory Measuring
MAGO has developed two different solutions for providing real- time trajectory information for a target:
Single Station Solution
The trajectory can be measured by a single station that consists of an IMAGO 100L Video Target Tracker equipped with an eye-safe laser rangefinder.
Multiple Station Solution
The IMAGO 100 Trajectory Measurement System (TMS) consists of two or more IMAGO 100 Video Target Trackers and a trajectory computer. The trajectory is determined using triangulation.

Miss Distance System
The IMAGO 100 Miss Distance System consists of two portable IMAGO 100 Video Target Trackers, and a miss distance computer. This system is used to calculate the miss distance between a projectile (such as a missile or a burst of gun rounds) and a target vehicle (such as a remotely piloted drone). The distance is determined by analysing the images of the encounter from the two trackers, and using triangulation to determine the relative trajectories of the projectile and target vehicle. The miss distance is the minimum separation between the two bodies.
The IMAGO 100 Miss Distance System is designed as a replacement for on-board miss distance indicators. Although it may initially cost more than an onboard system, the actual operating cost may be considerably less since no hardware is lost when the target is destroyed. The IMAGO system has the further advantages that it can provide information such as the relative trajectories of the target and missile, the position of the intercept, and video images of the intercept.

The IMAGO 100 Video Tracker combines the video image processing, target detecting and tracking, pan/tilt control and user interface in one integrated piece of software. This results in a fully optimised system that can be easily used for many applications and allows us to respond very quickly and cost- effectively to customer requests for custom features.
