The Industrial Marine Products Division is a wholly owned
subsidiary of I.M.P. Group Limited which is a diversified group
of companies participating in the Aerospace, Aviation, Airline,
and Commercial Industries.
MARINE AND AERO SAFETY
This department provides sales and service of wide range of
products including life rafts, pyrotechnics, immersion and
helicopter passenger transportation suits, inflatable boats, etc.
Our experienced safety specialists are available 24 hrs a day to
offer advice on products and to give service whenever required
(Approved by Transport Canada and Det Norske Veritas).
INDUSTRIAL SAFETY AND CONSUMABLES
I.M.P. offers a full range of safety products and plant
consumables including tools, paint, cleaners, coveralls, gloves,
hoist, etc. and products directly related to industrial safety.
This department is reinforced with a safety specialist who is
available to conduct safety seminars and offer advice on the wide
range of quality products available.
WIRE ROPE AND RIGGING
I.M.P. stocks a full range of quality steel wire and synthetic
ropes and fittings needed to assemble virtually any sling or
lifting arrangement. Our inventory includes ropes to various
specifications for marine, fishing, logging, mining and offshore
applications. Our 135 ton pull test machine can handle proof
loads up to 270,000 lbs. for testing and certifying slings,
chains, blocks and fittings. Our 1500 ton and 1000 tons National
Swage Presses allow us to fabricate mechanically spliced wire
rope slings form 8mm to 76mm. I.M.P. stocks all grades of chain
and chain attachments. Our professional rigging personnel can
also manufacture safety nets, debris nets, rope ladders and
recreational purpose netting to your particular specifications.
FISHING AND AQUACULTURE
I.M.P. has been supplying the commercial fishing industry for
over 30 years and is recognized as the major supplier to the
industry on the East Coast of Canada and the U.S.A. From netting
produced on our machines, to fishing trawl manufacture and repair
to foul weather clothing, I.M.P. is able to fully satisfy the
commercial fishing and aquaculture industries with quality
products and professional service capabilities.
