Henning Hansen Inc.

Henning Hansen Inc. was incorporated in March of 1977. The first
year was devoted to HIH Advertising, a division of Henning
Hansen Inc., and the production of Centre gauge part #HH1004,
patented in Canada with H. Hansen being the owner of said
patent. In order to grow and take advantage of a developing
market, (primarily, the introduction of the unitized automobile
in North America)custom made private labelled welding machines
were initially imported from Denmark. These and others to come
later from other countries were sold throughout North America
including Hawaii, primarily through the P.B.E. (Paint Body and
Equipment)distribution network.
To safe guard against fluctuating currencies and unstable
suppliers, the company started moving away from importing and
towards manufacturing. By June 18, 1991, the first of two U.S.
patents were obtained on an all new product designed and built
in-house. The HANSEN MIG ARM CH7290 for auto body and light
fabrication and the CH7292 for heavy industrial fabricating.
These products addressed two major markets - Auto Collision
Repair Shops and Fabricating Shops of all sizes.
The worlds first and only patented articulating Mig Arm has
expanded into 3 exciting series, all available bare or fully
loaded and with microprocessor controlled electric hydraulic
rise
and fall. The 9000, 8000, and 7000 series range in length from
22 feet down to 15 feet. That's up to a 74-foot reach with a 15-
foot welding torch. The arms accept all types of feeders and
adapt to any power supply.
Constant vacuum for dust and smoke extraction plus water, air,
welding cables and conduits converge through the structural
steel tubing bringing all the features and service to the head
of the arm for easy access.
The year 2000 saw the introduction of fan all new self
equalizing arm 13 1/2'in length capable of equalizing up to 300
lbs of feeder cables & hoses, the CHG and DES,DEW. A five year
exclusive distribution contract for the industrial market in
Canada was signed and granted to the Lincoln Flectric Co. of
Canada. In January 2001 an all new feature was an arm complete
with a watercooled industrial strength resistance spot welder as
well as Mig etc.
