Hammond Manufacturing was founded in 1919 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. In the early years, the company manufactured radios, power amplifiers and battery eliminators. During the late 1920s Hammond focused its efforts on the manufacturing of transformers and enclosures for the broadcast and communications industries. The increasing demand for electrical products of all kinds during the 1950s and 1960s created many opportunities for new products and diversification. During these years Hammond became a leading supplier of transformers and enclosures for the electrical and electronic industries. Today, Hammond Manufacturing is a global company serving numerous markets and customers worldwide. The Hammond product package now consists of five categories, Electrical Enclosures, Racks & Cabinets, Small Electronic Cases, Outlet Strips and Electronic Transformers. Operating from facilities in Canada, the United States, the UK and Australia, Hammond offers a broad range of standard products, modification services and technical support. Our customers include electrical, electronic and datacom OEMs/MROs, utilities and institutions which are served through a network of agents and distributors.
