As a Tier 1 & 2 supplier, we provide items that include cargo nets, tonneau covers, spare tire covers and storage bags. We have a board range of experience, expertise and capabilities that enable us to supply a diversity of products to meet specifications of our customers.
We supply seat covers and accessories for snowmobiles and ATV's. The precision sewing required on these products and the ability to meet very tight tolerances, demonstrates our technical capabilities relative to both appearance and function.
In addition to our on-vehicle parts, we have developed a variety of unique and cost effective protective covers for WIP, sequencing or shipping requirements. These include shipping cover for chassis assemblies, pallets, surface A parts and convertible tops.
We manufacture parts hanging bags, curtains and fascia covers for the handling and shipping of automotive parts. Utilizing a broad range of fabrics and components including Vintex, Autoguard, Dupont Tyvek and various plastics, we work to address the specific needs of each customer's requirements.
As a full-service packaging supplier, we can also assist in other specialty packaging needs. This includes installing vinyl pouches inside plastic totes and providing corrugated plastic containers, foam inserts and complete rack assemblies.
We supply product to diverse assortment of OEM industries including BBQ, air conditioning and air filtration manufacturers. The range of products includes protective covers for watercrafts, military helicopters, robotics and industrial machinery applications. We also manufacture bags and luggage for various functions such as ATV's, snowmobiles, law enforcement, mailbags and other uses. We encourage our customers to provide us samples and/or drawings so we can develop products to met your requirements.
BACKGROUND
H. Douglas Brown founded the company in 1971 as a small cut and sew operation to supply tie-down straps for roof racks. The company employed 2 production staff along with Mr. Brown who managed the operation.
Over the 30 years, the company has expanded into a multi-faceted company that both manufactures and imports products primarily for the retail and automotive markets.
Today, HD-Brown Enterprises Ltd. employs over 175 people in its manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facilities and sells products in Canada, USA and Europe.
Our company has been able to remain very competitive despite the changing landscape of the sewing industry. We have worked hard to maintain long term relationships with customers across all divisions of our company. We continue to grow by evaluating and addressing new markets, production methods and technologies; by developing new products and customers; and by maintaining effective cost and quality controls. We are a QS9000/ISO9002 registered company and strive for continuous improvement.
