  The following technology is used: Composting; industrial site remediation; the study of fish migrations using hydroacoustics and range- finders.

• Eco-engineering Technologies To Implement Hydroelectric Projects.

  Genivar does eco-engineering work in order to mitigate negative impacts of hydroelectric projects or to enhance natural resources by creating new fish habitats.

  Services include: Planning, design and construction of dams and micro-power plants (up to 10 MW) taking into account environmental concerns; design and construction of migratory passes, fish ladders and fish deviation devices; telemetry studies and monitoring of fish migration (acoustic counting device, etc.); habitat restoration, modelling and waterflow management.

  Genivar has done many projects for energy producers and private associations of fishermen by using this approach with a team of biologists, engineers and technicians.
