PROJECT MANAGEMENT
GTM offers management of construction projects from inception to completion for the purpose of controlling time, cost and quality. Services include project initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing. Our team has management expertise in: Project Integration, Scope, Scheduling, Budgeting, Quality Management, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management and Procurement.
ENGINEERING DESIGN
Design including, but not limited to, the following: Construction Staging, Intersection Modules, Roadways, Grading and Drainage, Concrete and Asphalt Paving all utilizing the latest computer and software technology.
ENGINEERED STUDIES
Studies including, but not limited to, the following: Traffic Impact Analysis, Traffic Signal Timing Analysis, Queue Analysis, and Intersection Performance.
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
On behalf of government and private-sector clients, review and approve Traffic Management Plans, including: Traffic Control, Implementation, Incident Management and Public Information sub-plans. Design traffic control layouts and coordinate approval and timing of peripheral works within the corridor or local road network to minimize the cumulative effects of simultaneous construction. Design and oversee area-specific truck management plans and priority access protocols for emergency responders. Audit contractors traffic control practices for safety, compliance and effectiveness. Consult with local governments and key project stakeholders on construction traffic regimes. Recommend on behalf of project owners contractual specifications and provisional language prior to tendering.
COMMUNICATIONS
Public and stakeholder consultation programs; communications planning and implementation of individual strategies; identification and mitigation of issues; media relations; advertising, writing web-based information, printed collateral and other forms of publicity; presentation of owners interests to elected officials and/or public audiences; assisting engineers with the public components of technical studies and transposing study findings for public information.
FILMING & SPECIAL EVENTS
Provide the BC Film Industry with Traffic Management Plans for full and partial closures of roadways. Provide and interpret traffic counts. Issue advisory notices to affected parties i.e. Emergency Services, Transit. Assist Location Manager with neighborhood issues i.e. edit notice of filming letters to residential and businesses affected by the closure. Facilitate open house sessions for residential and businesses affected. Liaise with the following groups: Local Film Offices, BC Film Commission, Transit, Vancouver Police Department, Emergency Services, Traffic Management.
