LTTD is commonly used for treating a variety of hydrocarbon contaminated soils resulting from fuel spills (e.g. gasoline, diesel fuels, kerosene, jet fuel), oils, and other products. One of the greatest benefits of the LTTD process is that contaminants are removed and destroyed at a very high efficiency -contaminants are not merely transferred from one location to another.
