GNE Communications developed a USA Patent (pending) protected process to provide the management of IP communications applications, allowing both time and non-time sensitive applications to operate without packet loss/service degradation over a single network. This process is called Intelligent No Packet Loss Networking. The capability resides on the network equipment IOS and requires no additional hardware to operate. In order for this capability to work, the hardware must support IEEE standards for the handling of packet transmission.

A special configuration file is applied to the router operating system. Based on the traffic types operating over the facilities, the capability will ensure an optimum quality of service is secured for each application. When applications are not operating, the capability will automatically reassign bandwidth to the remaining operating applications, further improving throughput. As additional applications begin to operate, the capability will reassign the facility bandwidth to ensure each application operates at or better than optimal transmission. Network resources are dynamic and do not require any intervention. All dynamic bandwidth allocation is provided without any packet loss or discarding of packets.

INPL Networking is a product that allows the implementation of next generation Intelligent converged IP networks for service providers or enterprise networks. INPL operates over IP networks to provide high Quality of Service for voice, video and data networks. Utilizing intelligent network capabilities raises efficency of exisiting networks to 99.9% which has the effect of doubling application traffic over the same network facilities. INPL Networking is protected by USA patent and only vavailable from GNE Communications or its licenced affiliates.
INPL Networking also allows the client to control what applications operate over the network. Intelligent networking only allocates bandwidth to applications that are allowed to operate. Any unauthorized applications will not operate providing a level of security without additional hardware or software.
