GFTC has developed and patented an innovative packaging evaluation system. The Oxygen Sensitve Indicator (OSI) system works in liquid form to indicate the quantity of oxygen entering a package, and in gelled form to indicate the areas where the package is weakest and allowing oxygen to enter. The system mimics a true food environment and is does not require the destruction of the package to gain measurements.
GFTC's Oxygen Sensitive Indicator (OSI) technology is a unique and patented way of evaluating both the rate and location of oxygen ingress into food packaging. By mimicking a liquid food system, it provides a unique and accurate test of the effectiveness of packaging options. More information is available at www. gftc. ca.
