Created in December 1988, Maxivox is a leading Canadian
manufacturer of state of the art microprocessor-based
intercommunication and public address systems aimed at the
institutional and industrial markets.
Maxivox employs from 30 to 40 people at its Quebec head office
and plant. Additionally, 15 to 20 people work out of its
St-Leonard branch office. Approximately 15% of its revenues
are spent on Research and Development.
The company distributes its systems and products through an
exclusive distributor/installer network covering all regions of
Canada. Also, the company has ratified distribution agreements
in Mexico, Taiwan, United Arabs Emirates, Turkey, Lebanon,
Hong Kong and is currently in the process of completing
negotiations for various countries in Asia, the Middle East,
Central American and South America. Maxivox has established an
exclusive partnership agreement with a reputable American
organization facilitating American market penetration.
Maxivox has chosen to concentrate its activities on two (2)
microprocessor controlled intercommunication systems:
EDUCOMM/X-7000 is aimed at the educational market.
MAXICOMM is targeted toward the medical market. Both systems
have been designed to be multifeatured, powerful, versatile and
user friendly. Both systems have all required Canadian
approvals and UL 1069 approval has been obtained for the
MAXICOMM II nurse call system.
All Maxivox products and systems are subjected to a rigorous
quality control procedure. Consistent with Maxivox's
commitment to penetrate international markets and in order to
gain credibility, the company has implemented ISO standards and
has obtained ISO 9001 certification in November 1998.

Audio Visual Nurse Call System Visucomm
VISUCOMM is a audio visual nurse call system designed for health
care applications which do not require verbal intercom
communications. This system enables hospitalized patients to
signify a service request to attending staff as well as for
staff to register their presence within various rooms of the
ward.
Doctors Registration System Sem
The SEM enables the registration of staff within an institution
and provides an electronic message center. Particularily
developed for Health Care application, it enables attending
doctors to register their presence within the various wards as
well as obtain messages which have been acquired through the
cedntral receptionist.
