Incorporated in the Province of Ontario in November of 1994, GCK Global, Inc. is jointly owned by two Ontario corporations - Securesearch, Inc. And Philippine Enterprises (Business Management) of Canada, Ltd. And by the director of Ruters Marketing, a sole proprietorship company based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Republic of the Philippines.

Rufers Marketing is a 24 year old company with approximately 200 sales personnel, covering the more than 7 thousand islands comprising the Philippines. Its primary focus has been marketing pharmaceutical products, mainly injectable, to private hospitals and clinics, physicians, government-run veterans' hospitals, pharmacies, armed forces medical units and to the Department of Local Government. Its marketing efforts have expanded in recent years for other types of goods primarily for, but not limited to, government agencies.

Located at the hub of the pacific rim nations, the Philippines has a population of about 68 million, and is growing rapidly annually. While Filipino (Tagalog, one of the many dialects) is the official national language, the Philippines is the second largest country in the world where English is spoken. The medium of instruction at schools is English.

In mid 1994, Securesearch, Inc. Was approached by Ruters Marketing and by Philippine Enterprises (Business Management) of Canada, Ltd. To source a wide variety of products in Canada and U. S. A., primarily for, but not limited to, the Philippines Government market. The marketing effort has been expanded to include municipal and provincial government agencies as well as to private sectors, not only in the Philipines but also to its neighbouring countries in the Pacific Rim. The product range has also been widened to include health, equipment and safety products other than pharmaceutical; security and defence products and training services; training and crop-dusting aircraft;

ambulances; fire fighting, emergency and armoured vehicles;

helicopters and specialized accessories; training aids for bomb awareness recognition and bomb disposal; personal protective products including body armour and O-C spray for police; and products in the fields of telecommunications, constructions, agriculture, fishery, mining and energy. The company has recently focussed on Solar Energy and Modular, Panelized Steel Homes transfer of technologies.

GCK Global Inc. Receives orders directly from worldwide end-users, agents, purchasers, and Ruters Marketing for the Philippines. With certain products, GCK buys them from the supplier(s) and ships them either to the end-user or as in the case of the Philippines, to Ruters Marketing. With other products, the order and funds are sent directly to the supplier(s).

Additionally, located in Ontario, Canada, GCK Global is positioned in, and conveniently accessible within, the North American Continent to represent, negotiate on behalf of and liaison, arrange, convene or facilitate the meetings between, getting involved with various suppliers, manufacturers, end-users and business developers around the world, including joint-venturing where necessary.

With the assistance of GCK Global, the supplier will arrange for shipment of the products to the end-user, or as in the case of the Philippines, will ship to Ruters Marketing, who will assist with customs clearance at the Philippines port of entry and ensure the goods are sent onward in good order, to the end-user.

Registered with the World Information Network (WIN) for Exports, GCK Global is prepared to work with Canad's Export Development Corporation and the Canadian Commercial Corporation, both federal government agencies who assist with export arrangements.

As of mid 1995, all foreign goods being exported to the Philippines must now be inspected first by SGS Supervision Services, Inc., at the request of the Philippine Government. The end-user pays for the cost of this inspection, which must be carried out at the supplier's premises before the goods are loaded into containers and sealed for shipment. SGS is a independent inspection agency chosen by the Philippine Government for this purpose. GCK Global, Inc. Will arrange these inspections with SGS at a time mutually acceptable to the product suppliers concerned. Suppliers should note that sales to Philippine government departments and agencies are exempt from this inspection procedure. Similar procedure may be applicable to other countries.
