Future SEA Technologies Inc. was incorporated in 1994 to develop and market the SEA System TM . This has included the design and construction of the SEA System TM , the establishment of a demonstration fish farm and the initiation of global marketing and sale of this innovative aquaculture technology. The SEA System TM includes both the physical hardware and the biological software-operational processes that optimize the use of the technology. Key components are protected by patent and / or copyright.
Future SEA Technologies Inc. has negotiated a collaborative agreement with Department of Fisheries and Oceans for technical and biological assessment of the SEA System TM at the Pacific Biological Station, in Departure Bay, Nanaimo, British Columbia. The Company has access to federal research scientists and laboratory facilities and is able to use the SEA System TM installation as a primary demonstration site.
Future SEA Technologies Inc. has sought the services of highly qualified local and international personnel to be involved in this project at the Board of Directors and Management Team levels. Key management personnel have extensive experience in finfish production, aquaculture technology design, fisheries, development and production, technology marketing and business management.

A Flexible, Enclosed Containment System, The Sea Systemtm, Has Been Developed Which Permits The Collection Of Waste Feed And Feces
The SEA SystemTM is a flexible, enclosed containment system, which provides high quality rearing conditions for a wide range of cultured species. Through careful design, the organism's environment has been optimized resulting in less stress, less disease, better growth, better food utilization and higher quality product produced.
A second device, a WASTE TRAP (patent pending) attaches to the bottom of the containment vessel and separates the waste streams into a cleaned discharge and sludge flow. The sludge flow can be further processed to recovery the nutrients and make it suitable for use as a soil adjutant or fertilizer. The company is interested in developing partnerships with others in order to help further develop this end of the process.
Upwelling Pump
High volume low head upwelling pump used to improve water quality for aquaculture. Can move over 100,000 lpm from 30m depth over 360 degrees. Helps with super chill, low dissolved oxygen, harmful plankton.
Lensing Bag
flexible nonpermiable translucent enclosure which contains freshwater in a saltwater environment for the purposes of hatchery expansion. Benefits include low captial cost, maximum water utilisation, easy cleaning, predator protection and improved fish performance.
