The Canadian Science and Technology Growth Fund (CSTGF) is a
venture capital investor which raised its initial capital earlier
this year. CSTGF has unique partnership agreements with the
National Research Council, the Natural Sciences and Engineering
Research Council and the Canadian Space Agency. CSTGF is the
only venture capital firm to have established cooperation
agreements with these three federal agencies which, together,
invest over $1.1 billion annually in research. CSTGF will be
investing in the information and communications, space
technology, advanced material and manufacturing, and environment
and natural resource sectors.
