  Nortech Jacques Whitford Inc. has dedicated the past ten years to the development of the Digital Video Geographic (DVG) systems by utilizing the most current technologies and by responding to clients' needs. From the initial profiling unit to a fully integrated video/laser mapping system, DVG has been developed to be a production oriented tool for right-of-way data acquisition.

  The helicopter borne DVG system is comprised of the following components: a high pulse rate laser profiling system, video image to scale (VIS), global positioning system (GPS), frontal viewing camera, a systems computer with real-time integration and real-time quality control of acquisition and data processing with GIS compatible output.

  DVG can be used in various areas, including planning, design analysis, operations management, administration, documentation and land use management.

  DVG is a non intrusive airborne data acquisition systems that ensures ease of survey in widely varied types of terrain. Directly implementable into corporate GIS/CADD systems, DVG reduces project start-to-finish time periods over other conventional survey methods, leading to efficient and accurate data, as well as direct and indirect savings in time, resources and money.
