Robot Open Control - The Roc
Our Robot Open Control provides autonomy and collaboration for mobile robotic platforms/vehicles. The Robot Open Control is software that applies multiple adaptive, procedural reasoning system (PRS) engines to the behaviour of robots. Humans set objectives and provide a menu of plans with which the robots run their mission and adapt to their changing environment. The ROC enables navigation path determination, threat-response analysis and collaborative team behaviour. The ROCs multi-PRS implementation results in limited search space for each engine and less computational complexity. Our unique PRS Regulator provides deterministic behaviour, where progress toward objectives is guaranteed and robots do not get stuck in conflicting reasoning cycles. The ROC runs on Real Time Linux on commercially available microprocessors, giving us commercial feasibility now. We believe that our platform is a market leader in certain compelling characteristics, proven out by the point that we are well on the road to making some of the huge competitors our customers.

Ground Units - Grunts
We call our ground-based UGV robots GRUNTs (GRound UNiTs). GRUNT platforms can be electric, gas or diesel. Frontline Robotics can take any array of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) sensors and actuators to suit customer requirements, and integrate them onto the vehicle/robot chassis that is suitable to the application (terrain, weather, range, speed, etc.).
