Fodemesi Shoes Limited is a family owned and operated business that has been in London since 1949. The business evolved from primarily custom made shoes, boots and skates to include retail operations in 1958 and then built a factory in 1958 and then again in 1969 to manufacture more specialized footwear and foot appliances. The company has been manufacturing the Cloudwalker line of comfort shoes and sandals since 1974. Distribution is nationwide to retailers who specialize in foot comfort. In addition to Cloudwalkers, Fodemesi Shoes manufactures the Dynamic and Reactivator line of sandals as well, as many different pressure-relief pads and shoe inserts under the Foot Form and Comfort name.
In 1986, Professional Pedorthic Services was established as the orthopedic division of Fodemesi Shoes to address the needs of physicians and other referring professionals. This division deals only with individual foot products and cooperates with the medical profession in working toward a solution.
The retail operations have grown to include a broad assortment of functional footwear from Europe and North America. Many of the brands carried by Fodemesi Shoes are imported directly from the manufacturer and not available elsewhere in Canada. Fodemesi Shoes has a highly trained staff and facilities for shoe modifications so that many types of feet can be accommodated with a pair of shoes from their stock.

Fodemesi Shoes has always specialized in achieving proper foot function through alignment, especially where the foot is wider than normal. All shoes carried in stock have either fixed or removable contoured insoles with both medial and metatarsal arch supports.
In cases where the foot cannot be fitted with available stock, custom shoes and orthotics can be made. The equipment used for all custom work is state-of-the-art and the techniques are regularly updated to accommodate the growing number of people who have feet with special needs.
