Florists Supply is an importer and wholesaler that sells fresh
flowers and floral supplies primarily to retail florist shops in
Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
Besides selling its floral supplies to retail florist shops, the
Company wholesales its floral supplies and Christmas
accessories to novelty and giftware shops.
The Company has four locations, 35 Airport Road in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, 1623 Quebec Avenue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,
14620 - 112 Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta and 100-7885 North Fraser Way in Burnaby, British Columbia. The warehouse and display room space consists of 30,000 square feet in Winnipeg, 11,000 square feet in Saskatoon, 19,350 square feet in Edmonton and almost 20,000 square feet in Burnaby. All premises are leased.
The Company, which consists of both a Cut Flower Division and
a Supplies Division, differentiates itself from its competitors
by being a full-service wholesaler which includes assigned sales
representatives, regular sales visits by Supply salespersons, over
3,000 Supply items, large variety of cut flowers year-round, in-town delivery service for local customers, and competitive prices. Further, Florists Supply has a professional Commercial Design division that provides interior landscaping services and customized silk trees and plants.
