laboratory services. Measurement of ultra-trace level total and
methyl mercury in water, soil, peat, sediment, tissue and air
is a specialty of the lab since 1991. We participated in the
validation of EPA Method 1631. Measurement of radionuclides Pb-
210 , Cs-137 , and Be-7 , (used to determine the age and
sediment accumulation rate in cores taken from lakes, rivers,
oceans, soil and peat) has also been a major activity in the
lab for the last 20 years. We have serviced clients from North
and South America and Europe.

in fish flesh. Applied atomic fluorescence technique to allow
very small sample sizes and thereby permit measurement of
mercury in fish without killing the fish that were sampled.
