Founded in 1974 in Sweden, the Systemair group has production and distribution facilities in over 50 countries. Its sole North American production facility is located in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada. The plant features top quality research and development expertise, state-of-the-industry testing facilities, and modern, efficient production equipment and processes. The plant produces over 65 different air movement products and supplies Canadian, USA and European markets. Kanalflakt manufactures a wide range of superior air movement/ventilation products for residential and commercial use. Its residential line includes air exchangers, heat recovery air exchangers, heat recovery ventilators, energy recovery ventilators, multiple-use ventilation systems and Iin-line fans. Its commercial line consist of multiple-use ventilators, heat recovery ventilation systems, heat recovery air exchangers with integrated heating or cooling capabilities. Besides manufacturing its own products, Fantech offers its industrial clients comprehensive contract manufacturing capabilities. Fantech's engineers, under contract to clients, create specialized appliances, taking the products from the drawing board, through the testing process, to full production. Product adaptation is also offered. Fantech will make specific adjustments to existing products lines to meet client requirements. These unique, new products are then manufactured exclusively for the contracting clients.

• Ventilation System

  Fantech provides specifically designed ventilation systems that supply fresh air through a multiple or simple intake air distribution system. Excess humidity, foul air and pollutants are rapidly evacuated from their various sources through the use of an elaborate exhaust network. Some systems warm the fresh air by mixing it with the air in the building while others recover the heat from the air expelled using a polypropylene, enthalpy or heatpipe core or an enthalpy wheel. All systems are fitted with high performance mechanical filters. Some are additionally fitted with ionizer-purifier units or a high efficiency electronic filter. Proper ventilation helps eliminate problems caused by condensation, expels stubborn odours, improves indoor air quality, and reduces health problems due to allergies and respiratory disorders.
