The Danaher Industrial Control Group (DICG) is a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation (a Fortune 500 Company). DICG began as separate and distinct companies, after a number of strategic mergers and affiliations that occurred, these companies were merged under the DICG conglomerate business platform in 2000. Today, DICG is comprised of over 26 renowned industrial and process control product brands and some 15 manufacturing locations worldwide and still growing.
Falcon was able to adapt DICG's complex business model into a streamlined eBusiness framework that allows all of the individual companies that make up DICG to take full advantage of eBusiness. This framework provides for easy integration of complex catalog and product ordering systems, channel partner collaboration, globalization and cross brand marketing/selling between the individual brands, while still retaining and supporting the brand image of each of these companies.

Gems Sensors, located in Gurnee, Illinois, made the decision to partner with a Canadian company on the west coast primarily on Falcons experience designing websites for B2B companies, which added a great deal of value and comfort level for Gems. Falcons unique approach of taking the time to understand Gems business, culture and process was reassuring considering the time and money being invested.
Falcon provided prototype designs and well planned out requirements documentation well before the quotation stage, making sure both parties understood what was being proposed and delivered. This technique, coupled with detailed timelines, quotations and budget forecasting by Falcon, positioned themselves as the obvious choice in the end for Gems. The first stage for Falcon was to establish the project life cycle plan, which would include defining, developing and delivering a project based on client objectives, prototype designs, site architecture, timelines and budgets. This plan would also include a dedicated crew of six, containing a project assistant, two designers, two programmers and an IT specialist. The team would be lead by a single project manager who would act as the liaison between Falcon and Gems, making sure all tasks and communication were managed efficiently.
'In just the first six months after introducing the redesigned website from Falcon, we've had more than eight times as many customers register per month, and have increased the annualized revenue dollars through the site by over 280 percent. Falcon has never missed a deadline on any of my projects, even if it meant following up to make sure that I stayed on schedule as well. In addition to their extensive knowledge of website design tools and practices, they act as consultants to help with many other e-commerce and online marketing decisions. I strongly recommend Falcon-Software for any Web projects and plan to continue using them in the future.'
