Fiso Technologies offers a unique way to perform Temperature, Strain, Position, Pressure and Load measurements, all with the same universal fiber-optic signal conditioner available from Fiso Technologies. Numerous types of Fabry-Perot based fiber- optic gages designed to mate with the FTI-10 and FTI-100i signal conditioners are available from Fiso Technologies.
Through the use of a white-light cross-correlator (US patent 5, 392, 117), the signal conditioners are capable of measuring the absolute cavity length of Fiso's Fabry-Perot fiber-optic gages with astonishing accuracy, providing highly accurate and reliable measurements. Each fiber-optic gages come with a 7- digit ID number affixed to the gage connector allowing the signal conditioners to recognize the type and calibration of the gage. No tuning or calibration is required.
With Fiso's patented White-light Fiber-Optic Interferometric technique, outstanding performances are routinely achieved in challenging environments such as those requiring complete immunity to EMI/RFI intense fields, full intrinsic safety, miniature gages, lead cable up to 5 km with no sensitivity to the environment, absolute measurements, high temperature capability, ultimate long term reliability, etc.
