Expresco Foods Inc. was founded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1986 to fill a niche in the food service industry for prepared seasoned kabobs.

The firm originated in the province of Quebec, serving the institutional market which includes a broad base of clientele such as hotels, schools, hospitals and cafeterias. The company quickly branched out into the principal consumer markets by forming alliances with the major food distributors. Within ten years, Expresco established a strong distribution network, serving Ontario, as well as eastern and western Canada. Expresco Foods Inc. is a recognized leader in the Canadian institutional foodservice industry. We specialize in the pro- duction of high quality frozen meat products, namely marinated vacuum packed souvlaki/kabobs made of high quality Canadian pork, chicken, beef and lamb. We offer the convenience of prepared frozen food products which save your clients time and money. Our products are best suited for hotels, restaurants, and institutional cafeterias. In addition to the traditional product line, we carry an exceptional line of complimentary products such as delicious tzatziki sauce, pita bread, and baklava.

Expresco entered the retail segment of the market in 2001 with the introduction of its popular kabobs into Costco outlets which resulted in great success.
