Equipment Planning Associates Limited (EPA) is a management consulting firm that specializes in equipment planning, assessment, procurement and commissioning for health care, research and educational institutions and government agencies. The firm operates from its headquarters in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada and on each client's premise or site in client/consultant teamwork.

EPA was founded in 1980 with experienced professionals to assist health care clients meet their needs. In 1986, the firm became a wholly Canadian owned entity and a year later, it overhauled the computer system with custom designed software and an improved data base. As the needs arose and EPA grew, the firm expanded the equipment consulting service beyond health care clients to include education and research institutions and government agencies. Since its inception, EPA has served more than one hundred clients in Canada, continental U. S. A. and overseas.

The firm employs a variety of professionals from many disciplines in health care industry and retains access to the service of specialist practitioners. By assigning the appropriate staff to a project and supporting those staff with inhouse custom developed software programmes, EPA continues to attain its philosophy:
