  The Five Seasons SSC-7 and SSC-15 Ceiling Mounted Electronic Air Cleaners are designed for ceilings in bars, restaurants, lunchrooms, conference rooms, computer rooms and open concept offices. Dirty, smokey air is drawn in through the bottom grill and prefilters, and given a positive electrical charge. Charged particles are attracted to the grounded collecting plates of the cells, adhering like a magnet until washed away. Clean air is then dispersed from the side grills in four directions allowing for a circular air flow pattern. Removes up to 95% of tobacco smoke particulates, cooking smoke and grease, dust, mold, bacteria and more down to 0.01 m. Energy consumption is reduced by as much as two-thirds because warm/cooled air will be cleaned and recirculated instead of exhausted. Lifetime filter system never has to be replaced.

The furnace blower moves dirty air throughout the house/building into the electronic air cleaner. The prefilter first removes all of the larger particulate matter. Smaller particles are then given a powerful positive electrical charge. These charged particles are then attracted to the grounded plates where they adhere like a magnet until washed away during cleaning. Finally the clean air passes through activated carbon filters for odour removal.

  The SP-2 Sourcer can be used anywhere on the shop floor. Its high performance, quiet operation and easy handling make it possible to capture a wide range of contaminants as small as 0.01 m, directly at the point of maximum concentration.
