ECOTECHNOS INC. is one of the few Canadian companies that designs, manufactures and services advanced wastewater treatment units for high-strength industrial and domestic wastewater from small- and medium-sized firms and developments.
ECOTECHNOS Inc. has developed a series of powerful small treatment units generically called Active Biological Contactors (ABC).
At the end of 2003, the technology was successfully tested with high-strength winery wastewater.
Early in 2004, the Environmental Technologies Verification Program of the Canadian Government certified the AQUACAN technology.
This technology has been certified by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, fullfilling requirements even more stringent than the Federal standards.
